Best pizza in town I've been coming here since I was a child. Unfortunately they had to relocate from their original location right on the corner of Sunset and Alvarado. Now they are in the Plaza on Alvarado next to the laundromat, due new ownership of the building. Come and support the original owners of Pizza Bouna. The service is always pleasantly. The new location is small and cozy and clean.
Honest review. I believe Italian food hasn't translated well into the west coast and loses its authentic taste + value, but I can't help but order on a Sunday to give me a taste of home. I will say their Italian wedding soup it's very good! Meatballs were tender and great broth. Chicken ziti + broccoli is my all time favorite dish. Although they had great consistency in their Alfredo + was delivered hot, it lacked flavor and just tasted like cream. S + P + garlic would really make this that much better. But also will say The portion size is huge! Meatball sub was okay. Tender meatballs, but my bread was burnt and sauce was super salty, I could only have a few bites. Seems like people enjoy the pizza here, so maybe next time.

Amazing food, hospitable and lightning fast service, ambiance is cozy and ideal to eat great food! Eggplant parm is so damn good! Get the salad with blue cheese! Cheese pizza is classic and delicious. Lots of flavor and amazing service. Thanks to the kitchen and front of house for always taking care of my family. You can always count with our patronage! 10/10
Pizza is good, fresh, and affordable! Old school pizza place, it's great for parties you can call them on the phone and they'll deliver you don't have to deal with the apps. I love the plain cheese pizza it's really good but if you're feeling fancy spring for the 4 cheese u won't regret it. The salad is huge and yummy btw a great deal Also FYI they were the original pizza Buona in Echo Park but the hipster spot Cosa Buona down the street stole their name when they got the building after these guys were pushed out.
The best Italian food I ever had and felt it was homemade from your mother kitchen. We order house special pizza and lasagna. Omg the best. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something different. Enjoy!
To this pizza I say: "COWABUNGA!" We've had this pizza delivered twice now and both times the food was amazing! It arrived quickly and still hot and had all of the yums! I highly recommend the four cheese...it's a perfect blend!
